Sibiu

We went to Sibiu on Tuesday. Its about an hour from Medias and we took the train so it took a little longer than that. The weather was nice...not very cold.
This was at a shopping center in Sibiu and we got in trouble for taking pictures here because apparently you can't. Whatever.

These are some of the lights that we saw. They were very pretty. I really liked the big tree that was lighted.
This is a little manger scene in the center of Sibiu and there was a little stray dog laying right in the middle. He was the same size as simon and kind of looked like him, only this one is more black. I thought he was cute.


Finally here is a video clip from the concert we went to last night in medias. It was for all the churches in the area. As you can see, it was in a gothic cathedral, which was very cool. This is the choir from Ovidiu's church, and they are singing Joy to the World.

In Romania

Hello Everyone again. It's been awhile since I wrote on this blog but here i am in europe again so I guess I should write something. My flights were fine, but they were all late. This picture is from the madrid airport and this girl was sitting next to me on the plane from chicago. Her name is Ayala and she is Israeli. It was really interesting to talk to her and she was very nice. We both had connecting flights in the same terminal so we hung out together during our layover.

This picture is from Sibiu, where we went yesterday. I have more pictures, but Ovidiu left his camera with his brother and so I can't upload those right now. I will do that asap. I loved the lights here and it smelled so good! There were booths selling roasted nuts and stuff like that. There was even a skating rink. We didn't do that though.
This was on the train coming back from Sibiu. We got a very nice train, and the train station was new too. Last time I was here they were still working on it and we had to get our tickets from a little wooden shack. This new station is like an airport almost. Everything is digital and shiny.
